A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Renew Your Texas Process Server Certification

Renewing your Texas Process Server Certification can be a daunting task, but we are here to help. Use the step-by-step guide below on how to access your renewal application and track your CE hours. If you need any help, feel free to use the contact us form.

  • Take 8-Hours of CE: Enroll and complete 8-hours of continuing education for Texas Process Servers. If you still need hours, click here to purchase the course
  • Download Your Course Certificate: Before you get started, download your course certificate that you received after completing your 8-hour CE course. You can access your course certificate by clicking here. You'll need the digital file to upload to your renewal application on the JBCC website.
  • Visit the JBCC Website: After completing your 8-hour continuing education course, visit the JBCC website by clicking here.
  • Login to Your JBCC Profile: Click on the 'Process Server' tab and login with your username and password. If you can't remember your login, see the information below this guide.
  • Renewal Application: Once you're logged in, click on 'Renew' on the left menu. From here, you can access your renewal application.
  • Tracking Your CE Hours: To track your CE hours, you'll do that from the 'Educational Details' tab in the renewal application. This is the only location you should be tracking your CE hours. click here to view the detailed instructions with pictures on how to find our course and upload your certificate.
  • Pay the Fee: After you completed all the previous steps and upload your course certificate, you can now pay the renewal fee to the JBCC. You'll do this right from your renewal application.
  • Confirmation: If you did everything correctly, you will receive a confirmation email from the JBCC saying they received your application. Now you wait! It may take up to 30 days for the JBCC to process your application.

You can always login to your JBCC profile after submitting your application to see what the status is. However, once you're approved, the JBCC will email you and let you know. The JBCC states it could take up to 30 days for them to process your renewal.
